Your use case

What would you like to do?

For someone to add a way to nickname other users client side. Kinda how steam handles nicknaming other people.

Why would you like to do it?

So than I can name my friends random stupid names or their actual names.

How would you like to achieve it?

Hopefully have someone see this and develop this feature.

Have you considered any alternatives?

I've searched it up and I haven't found any alternatives. Also if this feature is in any other matrix clients I'm not gonna move over just for this one feature.

I'm in favor of this, it would make element more adaptable to personal communication, and now element is more suitable for teamwork.
