Desktop user who uses Element/Matrix to keep in touch with a lot of my friends/family. Heavy daily user.
What would you like to do?
I think it would be a fantastic addition for those of us who like to rice our desktops if there were an in-app custom color chooser for things like background color, text color, accet color, et cetera. I know there are ways to theme Element but these are unwieldy and can be difficult.
Why would you like to do it?
Many of us put a lot of value in our systems' color themes being consistent across applications.
How would you like to achieve it?
There should be a color picker in the appearance section of the settings. Other chat apps do this, perhaps something could be adapted into Element.
Anyway this is just an idea!
Have you considered any alternatives?
There are of course workarounds that allow for custom color themes like this one. It would however be ideal if these workarounds were not necessary.

Just a ricing nerd who would like to change up my desktop theme more often than I do because I feel locked to Element's dark/green and light/green color scheme.
