Please move the thumbs-down emoji in the reaction panel farther away from the thumbs-up emoji #2326

Your use case

What would you like to do?

Swap the :-1: and :eyes: emojis in the "Quick Reactions" section of the reactions panel, like so:

Why would you like to do it?

Today for like the fourth or fifth time in six months, I accidentally :-1:'d a message I was trying to :+1:. I usually end up doing this to my boss, though sometimes my peers and superiors in open-source work get hit with it too. This is embarrassing, silly, results in brief moments of panic, and sometimes ends up with people going "wha...?" at me.

How would you like to achieve it?

Have you considered any alternatives?

Remove the :-1: emoji from the reactions panel entirely, perhaps? The :-1: emoji could move to some other part of the Quick Reactions section too, anything to just get it further away from :+1:!

On mobile, it would certainly be great to have the quick reactions reflect the most recently used emojis. For example, I use these emojis quite often, and on mobile it becomes cumbersome over time to search for them repeatedly: 🟢✅️😁
