Your use case

What would you like to do?

I would like to schedule a particular meeting or talk at the particular time and with all channel participants being notified though email with a calendar invite and through chat with the option to add to their calendar or of they have already linked their calendar which will be automatically added.

Why would you like to do it?

Online meeting nearly always happen on a schedule.

The calendar invites as well as the events on FB, YT, etc. now needs to be created separately. Also if it is a video event the streaming can be set up on FB, YT, etc.

How would you like to achieve it?

Specify event details for specific chat sessions wither video or text bases.

Also being able to view past session.

If there are connected events in other social platforms, the relevant events can be kept synched.

Which can be means to increase participation for the events.

This would be lovely with Mobilizon as https://pikaviestin.fi which is a open homeserver for Finnish people also hosts https://järkkää.fi Mobilizon instance using the same (Keycloak) accounts.
