Why would you like to do it?
This is completely unexplained otherwise. I know what this means, but a user less familiar with the Matrix protocol won't know what this means or what to do to fix it. They might even think they have to update their app, which will lead to further confusion. All in all, it's bad UX.
How would you like to achieve it?
I'd suggest a textual explaination, maybe in a tooltip, or a link to documentation for how to update the room version.
