Non content information crowds out content in timeline #2475

Steps to reproduce

  1. Visit a room from a group with infrequent chats
  2. Observe the timeline

Outcome

What did you expect?

See the recent content in the viewport

What happened instead?

The viewport is filled with non content system messages that grab a lot of screen real estate and crowd out the real chats.

Element Web deals with this by collapsing these entries into a single summarised line. I always quite liked that
