Emojis (in HTML) are not being enlarged #22009

Steps to reproduce

  1. Send an emoji
  2. Send another emoji, but with /html

Outcome

What did you expect?

The HTML emojis are being enlarged

What happened instead?

Screenshot_20220502_163916 …especially when the message comes from Discord

Came here from #25307. Just wanted to let everyone know that the tip they gave me over there is correct: Markdown has to be enabled in options for large emojis to work. A bit weird, because I don't see the connection as a user - but it surely will have some technical reasons. Doesn't matter. Most important thing is I have my beloved large emojis back :-)
