This happens since we only embed Jitsi and it isn't using the Matrix VoIP stack. That said, we might be able to pass it the options
Hello. Any roadmap about it ? Thanks.
Also happens on Element Call beta, it just won't disable. Happens on Windows and Arch Linux with pipewire and pipewire-pulse.
@t3chguy @SimonBrandner Is it known that this also happens on Element Call? This kind of makes Element Desktop unusable for me and some friends.
@bblacher I'm not on the Element Call team nor is this the repo related to that project, I suggest asking in their Matrix room.
@t3chguy alright, thank you :) (but just to be sure, I'm talking about Element Call embedded in Element Desktop)
Well, I did ask there, one guy tried to reproduce, didn't succeed, that's where the discussion ended. I just want to add to this issue that the tag "Z-Fixed by Element Call" should be removed because this issue still persists when using Element Call instead of jitsi inside Element Desktop.

This seems to apply to Element Call as well, I do think the issue is with the way Element Call is embedded in Element Desktop.
for browser user you can enforce disable
for chromium:
for firefox(windows only, linux don't seem to have this) :
