STR:

Disable WASM in your browser (eg, in firefox, set javascript.options.wasm to False)
Reload Element

If you have an active session, this results in an "Unable to restore session" error:

If you don't have a session and try to log in, you get an infinnispinner:

Looks like attempting to load the app in Safari on an iPhone in lockdown mode might have a similar effect.
