no more username autocompletion with <Tab> #28501

Steps to reproduce

open a room view
focus the composer
assuming somebody with nick bnjbvr is present in room, type bnj<TAB>

Outcome

What did you expect?

autocomplete to work: this gets autocompleted to @bnjbvr with a mention pill

What happened instead?

nothing

btw I use ArchLinux
