Not getting notifications on lineageos/microg setup #3512

Steps to reproduce

So, I installed element x on my phone and then installed the ntfy program, but I still do not get a notification when a new message comes in. I do not use any google services. After running the tests in element x, everything seems to be working correctly. I am still getting the message itself, just no notifcation. I understand this project is still a work in progress, so I expect this issue will get fixed in time (I am already quite impressed by this new client).

Outcome

I expect to get a notifcation of a new message coming in.

Edit: So, after further testing, I do not get notifications on the regular element app for android either. Going to close this as not a bug, but rather something wrong with my setup. I'm sure I can get help on the element matrix channel.
