App deadlocked and got killed by the OS after accepting invite #2957

Steps to reproduce

  1. Accepted an invite from push
  2. Hit accept in roomlist
  3. It tried to backfill history
  4. Something wedged solid

Outcome

No deadlocks. See rageshake
