voice call/video call error. #2241

hello how are u? i am riot android user i am using huawei p8. If i swift riot app in background. i dont not receive video/audio call. i receive video/audio call only when app is turned on how to fix this?

@ogiright123 did you install from F-Droid or Google Play?

I have the app installed from Google Play and I have the same issue. If there were notifications for calls we'd probably be fine.

Notification Privacy: Normal.

MicroG installed instead of Google Play on LineageOS.

hello In huawei p8, if i swift riot window in background, riot process is died completely. if Process is died, app is not receive any call or message push. how to fix this?

@ogiright123 It looks like your phone is enforcing aggressive power saving mode over Riot. See if you can turn off power saving for it.

Battery optimization was already turned off. However it been a few weeks and I have reinstalled since then. So far it appears to be working.

Today I tested Riot 0.8.10 from GooglePlay.

It is receive voice call/video call only if option "Notification Privacy" set to "Normal". If "Notification Privacy" is set to any GCM mode - then voice call/video call not receive by riot (if remove there from tasks).

I think this is properly behavior - riot need daemon for rington call and for showing "call receive" screen. But I sink - it is need add description in menu settings about "Notification Privacy" = "Normal" is very need for receive voice/video call.
