Flatpaks don't show until a reboot #440

What Happened

The first time you install a Flatpak app, you need to log out and back in to access the app. This is quite anti-user, and on top of this there isn't any indication to the user that they have not, in fact, borked their install.

Expected Behavior

Apps are immediately available in the Applications menu.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Fresh install
  2. Install something from a flatpak source
  3. Can't see the app
