Open janxkoci opened 4 years ago

janxkoci commented 4 years ago

Prerequisites

Describe the bug

What it says on the tin - the close buttons in search bars of these two gnome apps are on the right, which is not consistent with the rest of those apps (and the rest of the system).

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Open Epiphany browser or document in Evince.
  2. Press Ctrl+F to start searching
  3. The close button of the search bar that appears is on the right side

Expected behavior

The close button in search bar should be consistently on the left side.

I'm not sure how receptive Evince would be upstream, but I can poke Epiphany and see if their search close button can follow the system close button location (or at least be on the left in Pantheon).

Thanks

I edited the post to correct the OS version, I sometimes forget that now Juno is Hera
