Receiving event notifications a day late #710

What Happened

All my repeating events consistently don't show on time and are usually shown when I unlock my laptop the next morning Screenshot from 2021-09-21 09-51-56

Expected Behavior

I get the notifications on time and not whenever I login the next day

Steps to Reproduce

  1. set an event with a notification
  2. Wait for the time
  3. Log in the next day
