I have successful synced my Google Calendar account with the Elementary Calendar app. However, when I change the colour associated with each individual calendar the majority of the events are lost.

Open Calendar app
Change colour of a Google Calendar
Events are lost
Expected Behavior
Events should remain but using the new colour selected by the user.
