We could try to do some bash aliases for apps that follow RDNN scheme so that terminal people don't need to type the whole io.elementary. everytime they try to launch an elementary app.
I think it would be a good middle ground between managing RDNN and making it simpler to launch those apps in terminal.
This would probably go only as a system config rather than project-based.
Now there are some aliases which we can't do like code since there would be conflicts but I think this is rather an exception, not a rule.
