Fixes #81

This is a really nice feature and makes these overrides much nicer to use as they won't conflict with default GNOME specifically.

@codygarver Strange.

@cassidyjames said that they were using this in Pop OS (ubuntu bionic) so they should work.

see all settings are broken

Just to verify, the settings are just the defaults?

I'll try some testing in a VM later today too.

Tested in a vm and I can reproduce.

Since bionic for sure has these patches, any pointers on how to debug this?

Confused why this was closed though, there weren't conflicts with master. All I had to do was rebase and worked it out fine.
