Problem

In Elementary OS 8, there is currently no way of knowing what app is running via the dock. This becomes even more useful when using multiple work spaces, as you can't visually see the application on the screen.

Proposal

Running indicators to show apps that are running, preferably with a differentiation between the foreground/focused app and unfocused apps.
