So I think this has been reported elsewhere, but I can't find it. The problem is that we use SuperNumber to focus workspaces. I know Windows and Unity (and maybe Ubuntu's GNOME dock now) both do the Super+Number thing to launch apps; I'd be curious if other platforms do anything similar, or if there is a different way we could make launching dock apps faster from the keyboard.
Maybe this can be done through keyboard shortcut settings so that users can define their own keyboard shortcuts for this if needed.
Just wanted to leave a follow up comment here that when we did our multitasking/dock survey we found that a significant number of people mentioned wanting Super + num shortcuts to launch dock apps over switching to specific workspaces. So it's worth revisiting this
Hello, a small feature request to make keybindings available for dock items. Like super (or any other modifier) +1 to launch/or minimize first dock item, super + 2 for second and so on. Really missing this.
