Drag n' drop from Browser to files #2423

What Happened?

I think this might be an issue for quite a few years now, still not able to solve. I can't drag a file, an image, from the browser (chromium) to Files, this feature is a must and saves a lot of time. Although the "plus" icon in the cursor dos appears it doesn't work.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open browser
  2. Find an image
  3. Drag and drop it to Files app
  4. Nothing happens

Expected Behavior

The file would be downloaded to the directory where I dropped it.

OS Version

7.x (Horus)

Software Version

Latest release (I have run all updates)

This works on OS8 for some images (.png, .jpg) but not others (.webp), using the elementary Web Browser and Files. May also depend on the web-site and whether you have an account/are logged in.
