Cannot suspend or power off after wake #518

What Happened

After waking from suspend to the greeter, neither the hardware power button on my tower case or the wingpanel session indicator is able to suspend/power off (until I log in)

Expected Behavior

I am able to suspend or power off the device without logging in

Platform Information

elementary OS 6 Daily

Maybe related to #570? I have same problem combined with non-functioning screen blanking
