no option to specify where to install boot record #597

It appears that there is no way to point where to install 'boot record', after installation I wasn't able to boot other OSes overwrote master boot record

What about using the custom installation? I succeeded dual-booting elementary OS 6 and Windows 10 by creating a 512 MB space for /boot formatted with FAT32 and using remained area for / formatted with ext4

that is what I exactly used 'custom install' no option to specify where to install boot record, there was no problem with 5.x release
