Notifications interactivity #346

Every time new message has been received the notification bubble appears in top right corner. I expect click on it should switch focus to mail application, where received message should be in focus so. Notification also appears in wing panel notifications widget, I also expect clicking on it should do the same.

But there is nothing happens when I do a click. There is no messages about any crash in /var/log/syslog.

Please, help me to find the reason of such strange behaviour.

This is recurring on the distributed version of Mail. When you click the notification it actually opens the client (most of the time) in the background. Does it happen when you build this one?

Unfortunately can't run io.elementary.mail app (built from source) correctly. Can't enable online account for Mail app at system settings. settings mail

Hello @sempasha, As indicated in the project's readme:

Mail uses Evolution Data Server and Camel to display their emails. Currently, the easiest way to test mail with your accounts is to configure them first in Evolution. Ultimately, setting up an account in online accounts will connect it to EDS / Camel, but it has not yet been implemented.

Try this way, to see if you manage to add your account.
