Wireless keyboard and mouse do not respond at login screen #211

When I initially start my computer, my wireless keyboard (iclever IC-GK03) works normally, and I can select elementary from the GRUB menu and boot. However, once the elementary OS login page is displayed, my wireless keyboard and mouse inputs are no longer recognized. The only way I am able to resolve this is to unplug the USB wireless keyboard/mouse receiver and plug it back in, then inputs are once again recognized. I have replicated this problem with a different wireless keyboard (Microsoft Wireless Keyboard 800 - Model 1455).

Which Greeter (login scren) are you using? Have you compiled the latest from git or just the regularly released version?

I don't thing the keyboard settings can help with this, I'm moving this to our catch all os repo.

Have you research whether other people with similar devices have this issue on elementary OS or Ubuntu?

Thanks for the response, Peter. I do not have any customizations on my login screen, just the default that came with elementary. I have been using elementary OS for greater than 6 months, and this problem is a fairly recent development. I keep elementary up to date and install updates as they become available. I did check around the forums. I didn’t see any similar reports for elementary. I did see some similar reports on Ubuntu forums, but they seemed fairly old (versions 14.x - 17.x).
