After fresh elementary 8 install Framework 13 Laptop (Iris Xe Graphics) freezes on boot screen #741

After a fresh install of elementary os 8 (elementaryos-8.0-stable.20241122rc.iso) the laptop freezes on boot screen. If I hit the escape key the framework boot logo will disappear, show no boot text and freeze soon after (not hitting escape still freezes with framework boot logo). Freeze as in keyboard is unresponsive as well. Running intel i7 (Iris Xe Graphics) framework 13 laptop.

Turns out this was a bad sodimm ram module. Removing it fixed this issue and is hardware related not elementaryos. Closing.
