When Photos is launched in the viewer/preview mode (clicking a photo from the file browser, for example), it should constrain the window proportions to match that of the photo.
This is similar to how Audience behaves, so perhaps code could be borrowed from there.
I can imagine this not working with an extreme-proportioned image--i.e. a very tall and skinny one--so perhaps in those cases we'd still letterbox it on the sides.
