Photos poorly displays colors of JPEG (sRGB) #673

What Happened?

Images look less attractive in Photos than, for example, in a web browser.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open any JPEG saved in sRGB space simultaneously in a web browser and Photos. Preferably, it should be a nature/flowers picture.
  2. Visually check the results.
  3. In addition, try to view explored photos on your smartphone. For example, images on my Android device are displayed perfectly.

The problem is also relevant for PNG.
