Problem

Folks want to be able to:

Proposal

Provide a list or grid of users

Prior Art (Optional)

tvOS

Shows the currently logged in users avatar in the panel and displays users as a grid of avatars

Chrome OS

Shows the avatar of the currently logged in user in the menu and appears to switch to a separate page when clicked

GNOME

Doesn't appear that GNOME quick settings currently provides this feature, but there's a mockup that seems to provide an avatar in the corner like Chrome OS but shows a menu instead of a separate page https://github.com/d-go/quick-settings-avatar

In quick settings, add the logged-in user's avatar and remove the log-out option.

Quick Settings

User Interaction:

Few Users

Scalability:

Max users No other users

These changes should make it easy for users to see who is currently logged in and quickly switch between users while maintaining a consistent and scalable design. I'd love to hear your feedback!
