KDE Connect Support #34

I wish to have a KDE connect indicator functional with wingpanel.

There is a a repo, however the developer is no longer maintaining it.

I suggest to take a look at GSConnect as t re-implements KDE Connect protocol with no KDE dependencies

I’m with you in this. One thing I would like to see in Elementary OS is Elementary Connect. The system really needs a good implementation of KDE Connect. This is just my little mockup for wingpanel, I apologize in advance for my poor English.

Altough the current GUI implementation is horrible compared to your mockup, I'll see if i can get around to actually finish some basic implementation, like connecting to phone, and notifications sync support.

Do the devs have any desire to integrate this functionality? I would love this feature and in 2021, phone integration is a standard feature.

I've starting a project like this some months ago... Altough the current GUI implementation is horrible compared to your mockup, I'll see if i can get around to actually finish some basic implementation, like connecting to phone, and notifications sync support.

Are you planning on going forward with this project?

Sadly, not anymore guys. Changed to an iPhone recently, and changed jobs as well. So not much free time. Not sure i even have that repo anymore.
