The top and left edges of GTK4 applications in light mode have a thin black bar #1224

What Happened?

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Set any of default elementary OS themes
  2. Turn on light mode
  3. Open any GTK4 application

Expected Behavior

No black borders on top and left sides of GTK4 applications in light mode as it is in light GTK3 theme.

Why is this closed? I still see the issue right now (the browser got recently ported to GTK4).

PS: there is also a single-pixel white line on the left side, but inside the window - it's noticeable in the browser when there is dark content, like below:

The white line was not there in GTK3.
