6 years ago Same should be done for kernel updates too, i.e they need to be separated in a separate category. Currently I have to compile a driver for Bluetooth to work on my system and it needs to be repeated after every kernel update. It would be a better experience if I could control them separately.
It's necessary to think of a smarter way to group packages in AppCenter.
It's currently as follows:
If you do not want to perform the LibreOffice update, for example.
But you want to do other system updates
LibreOffice sub-packages will try to be updated and this is not what you want.
A solution should be considered in which subpackages belong only to the external package.
