Have had a difficult time installing Nvidia drivers. I'm completely new to Linux (some guide books are on order!), but I followed all the various methods that Google was able to turn up. I even really scared myself when my screen went Black and wouldn't come back. I pulled my RTX 2070 card, put it back, tried various things, and eventually my display came back. I don't know what I did! Suddenly the Nvidia drivers appeared in the App Center and were available to download and install. Again, I don't know what changed, or how this started working, but the entire experience was strange, difficult, time consuming, frustrating, and in general, NOT what the Elementary OS is supposed to be about. I currently do NOT have system sound (which I'll continue working on) and I cannot get CUDA working in Blender 3D. I'll continue trying to sort these things out, but I definitely wish that the developers would create a more simple, bullet proof way to install video drivers. Thanks.
