Can't disable accelerometers switching my screen orientation #260

As stated in the title the accelerometers I have in my pc change my screen orientation if I incline too much the laptop and I can't disalbe it. I went in to the bios but couldn't find anything.

The pc is a HP-EliteBook-2170p

I don't know how to attach a screenshot but stay assured that I don't have that, I do every update.

my version is: elementary OS 5.1.7 Hera Costruito su Ubuntu 18.04.4 LTS Linux 5.4.0-45-generic GTK 3.22.30

Btw, I lost access to the default downloads folder, don't ask me how, no clue. I'm running elementary in conjunction with windows, is there a way to reset the OS without losing files, apps, etc?
