External monitor HiDPI setting at @2x after resume from suspend but screen at @1x #353

What Happened?

Sometimes, when returning from suspend, the external monitor is set at @1x even though it’s @2x in settings.

Steps to Reproduce

Not reproducible every time.

  1. Return from suspend, note that screen is set to @2x but displays in @1x. Screenshot from 2021-11-12 10-07-11@2x

  2. To fix, set to @1x. Screenshot from 2021-11-12 10-07-19

  3. And then, set back to @2x. Screenshot from 2021-11-12 10-07-31@2x

Expected Behavior

If the monitor is set at @2x, it should display at @2x always.

Latest release (I have run all updates)
