kkhedman commented 2 years ago

What Happened?

If i choose Language & Region -> Formats: Finland , it shows dates in Sweden style, see picture: https://files.nextcloud.fi/index.php/s/jHC4ey7CzMKGDRN

Steps to Reproduce

Language & Region -> Formats: Finland but it is using Swedish "fre 26. augusti 2022"

Expected Behavior

It should be "pe 26. elokuu 2022" , this is working on OS 5.1.7 but not in OS 6.1.

OS Version

6.x (Odin)

Software Version

Latest release (I have run all updates)

Just tried this with EOS 7 (Early Access) and I find that there are two Finnish formats shown - Finland (Finnish) and Finland (Swedish) (I have both Finnish and Swedish languages installed for the purpose of this test). The same two formats are shown regardless of whether the selected Region is "Suomi" or "United States". Presumably this is because Finland has both Finnish and Swedish as official languages (according to Wikipedia)? I doubt that this is an issue with the locale plug itself - more likely to do with the upstream language packs it uses.

Hi, there was only "Finnish/Suomi" to choose, but i get that fixed by installing Finnish Lang package and then there was Finland (Finnish) and Finnish (Sweden) and when finally after some reboots i get it work with login and main page. Strange that it doens't need this work with OS 5.x but with 6.x.
