6 months ago @jeremypw yeah it sounds like that feature is maybe broken for some time now, so I'm not sure it's worth holding up this port while we're figuring out the proper fix

This does not add any new rules to "iptables" when a blocked URL is added - maybe also in master but #180 does add rules as expected. I don't think #180 makes any Gtk4 relevant changes though so you may want to fix that issue after porting to Gtk4?
