[odin-beta] Suspend issue #467

Hi.

I'm experiencing a weird suspend problem and I'm not sure that this is the right place for this so please forgive me for that. I have a Ryzen 7 4800U Lenovo All-in-One PC and everything is working like a charm except suspend.

The case is like this:

  1. If I leave the PC to suspend after the period of time set in Switchboard, suspend works fine in 100% of cases
  2. If I try to suspend manually from the Wingpanel the results are like this:
    • 40% of the time it works fine
    • 35% of the time the screen goes off and after a few seconds back on, showing Greeter's login screen
    • 25% of the time the screen goes off and the PC freezes completely with the only thing left to do is to turn it off with the power button.

Platform Information

elementaryOS version: elementary OS 6 Early Access with all the latest updates at the time of writing this kernel: Linux 5.8.0-50-generic HW: 8× AMD Ryzen 7 4800u with radeon graphics, Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD®/ATI] Renoir dmesg reports "ACPI: (supports S0 S3 S4 S5)"

Installation is all vanilla, with no self-compiled kernel modules or apps, no custom themes, or other customizations.

Just an issue bump because it is still happening with the Odin release, with all updates as of the day of writing this.
