Indicator flashes between empty and calendar items on open #297

What Happened?

The indicator is initialized at empty state before items are loaded so it flashes from this state into the calendar items list every time is open.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Add items to calendar that would show on this day
  2. Trigger indicator in the top panel

Expected Behavior

Do not init at empty state if there are items to be shown to avoid the flash or make both states look similar so it can not be perceived.
