Show airplane mode icon when airplane mode key is pressed #45

Currently, the airplane mode icon only appears when I turn on airplane mode in the system settings. My keyboard is equipped with an airplane mode key; when I press that key, it duly turns off all radios, however, the network indicator does not change to indicate that airplane mode is on. The airplane mode icon only appears when I toggle it in the network settings.

This might be hardware-dependent; what hardware are you using? If I recall, the System76 driver (for example) has to manually sync the physical airplane mode state with the software airplane mode state. It might be the case here; if the keyboard shortcut actually toggles something on a firmware level, I don't know that there's much elementary OS can do.

I have this function key too, and more and more PC have it too. It's like the volume or luminosity controls. It would be great to add this feature now :+1:
