Increment/Decrement (+/-) Step Counter Buttons For Add To Cart Widget #16270

Prerequisites

What problem is your feature request going to solve? Please describe. I am sure I have seen this before but cannot for the life of me find this issue anywhere, so here is a new entry. My feature request is going to add the ability to increase and decrease the value of the quantity input on the add to cart widget, without the use of the default browser input spinners. This betters the User Experience (UX) particularly on mobile devices as it reduces the number of clicks to change the value. Astra Theme seems to have this option by default as do other third party themes but not Hello Theme. I am requesting we have this feature added to the Add To Cart widget with the ability to switch it on and off as the developer requires because I want Hello Theme to remain a vanilla theme.

Describe the solution you'd like I would like Elementor to introduce the option to turn on and off this feature in the add to cart widget, with the ability to style the buttons as necessary.

Describe alternatives you've considered 1) I have tried following this guide but it is not practical long term: https://www.businessbloomer.com/woocommerce-add-plus-minus-buttons-to-add-to-cart-quantity-input/ 2) Elementor's Tier 1 Support told me to change my CSS printing method and to clear my cache (no word of a lie - this was an actual suggestion and not a joke. I too couldn't believe this). 3) Elementor's Tier 2 Support said this isn't a feature despite these buttons being showcased all over Elementor's website as a feature, and that they are not actually available and just "graphic visuals our designers put on the site" which is frankly misleading. See images below for context.

Additional context It seems these step counter buttons are mostly theme dependant. Some themes implement them and others do not. I would like it so the option can be toggled from the Add To Cart widget itself. These buttons, among other elements too, are showcased all over Elementor's website as if they are a default feature, when in fact, they are reliant on the theme. Well I'm using Elementor's Hello Theme and these button do not display which makes sense because it is a vanilla theme, but why not add the option to the Add To Cart widget then? It's misleading to show elements which are only available with a secondary plugin or third party theme and not by default.

Please take a look at your website and look at what is on display. This is just one of several elements I can spot which are not actually available to implement without a third party plugin or theme.

This is a must have feature

+1

Must have feature! Please add this. With option for inside or outside.

It is strange, Elementor has screenshots on the homepage but it's not possible with elementor (pro). I know, with CSS yes, but i am not a developer. Just a designer und creator.

Elementor works still some time constantly on WoocCommerce, so why not on this. I link the actually beta thread: #17382

Personally, I don't think it's that important on the product page. Whether I click 5 times or enter the number directly and then click the "Add to cart" button doesn't make much difference in my opinion.

However, it becomes problematic on the shopping cart page with the active "Auto reload" function (Elementor Cart widget). Here there is the error that this does not work on a mobile phone. You change the number, but it is not updated. That is a big problem.

It makes a huge difference when using mobile devices. Tap the quantity box to bring up the keyboard, remove the existing quantity (1), enter a new quantity, tap enter to remove the keyboard, tap add to cart. The point remains, if it's not a feature, it shouldn't be plastered all of the website as "graphic visuals our designers put on the site"

In my experience designers love to add this to their designs, so it would be amazing if Elementor would support this as well... in the end they actually showcase it on their site, so please implement the feature.
