Linked button disappear with specific URLs #16506

Prerequisites

Description

Prior note: this bug happens only in versions released in the past 3 months (sorry but I don't know precisely the starting point). Using specific URLs, linked buttons disappear.

Steps to reproduce

Using the standard "button" Elementor widget and using Envato referral links, it disappears. The URL structure is: https://1.envato.market/REFERRAL-CODE

If you add a "www" (eg. https://www.1.envato.market/REFERRAL-CODE), it appears again, but obviously the link will be broken.

Isolating the problem

Just a little update: the bug happens also for linked images. I suppose you can target it in the URL-detector algorithm

Hi @LCweb-ita Thank you for taking the time and reporting this.

We recreated your process of work and it seems to work properly. I tried with the link https://forum.elementor.com/product-updates which have the same structure.

Please try:

Thanks.

Hi @DorShahar, sorry I totally forgot about this thread!

Just a little follow-up explaining the real cause: for whatever reason, those Envato URLs were marked by adblocks as advertsing. Therefore linked elements were hidden by the browser.

Today they fixed it. No issue at all on Elementor!

Thanks for your kind answer, Luca
