⛔ 🛟 Support Request: Can't edit with Elementor

Prerequisites

• [X] I have searched for similar issues in both open and closed tickets and cannot find a duplicate.
• [X] The issue still exists against the latest stable version of Elementor.

Description

I have the wheel of death over the elementary panel and images does not show

Steps to reproduce

1) go on main page and trigger elementor. then you will see the wheel of death. I thought it was a memory issue or php issue I upgraded both but still having issues

note 1) The background photo is in grey. sometimes the background image comes up but majority of the time its grey. 2) The Data updater isn't updating and I get this. "There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.

Isolating the problem

• [X] This bug happens with only Elementor plugin active (and Elementor Pro).
• [ ] This bug happens with a Blank WordPress theme active (Hello theme).
• [ ] I can reproduce this bug consistently using the steps above.
