When using this theme and The Events Calendar Tickets Plus #145

When using Hello Elementor theme together with the current latest version of Modern Tribe's The Events Calendar with the Tickets Plus extension, a problem occurs should you wish to use "Collect Attendee Information" in NON-MODAL registration mode.

Using "modal registration" works fine.

It's only when you want to collect the attendee information during the WooCommerce checkout flow that it shows a "Page not found" error.

The browser Title Bar says something about "Auto-draft".

When using Twenty Twenty-One theme, this error does not occur.

Theme: Hello Elementor Plugin : The Events Calendar by Modern Tribe Extension: Tickets Plus Needed plugin : WooCommerce

Settings : Collect attendee information Modal registration OFF Page slug : irrelevant (tested) Page template : irrelevant (tested) Use a Page : irrelevant (tested)

Flow : Event page, select tickets, add to cart. View cart - > go to Checkout - > Page not found Expect : Page to collect Attendee Information

Theme error tested? Yes, works fine with Twenty Twenty-One

Did you ever find a solution for this?

@marcel-za I'm so glad that I'm not the only one who has been experiencing this issue... I've been dealing with this for months with a client's website and I wasn't able to figure out why it was happening. Manually resaving/updating the permalinks was the only thing that fixed it, but only temporarily. I suppose I'll just need to use the modal attendee registration option for now.

I heard back from their support and it turns out Elementor templates aren't supported. So although you can select an Elementor template in the settings, and within Elementor you could create templates, this isn't actually supported functionality.

We ended up creating a child Hello Elementor theme and doing things the old fashioned way - copying the Events Calendar views and modifying them as we needed them.

Hey,

@scottybo @geoffmyers I recently had the same issue. Then I found this: https://theeventscalendar.com/extensions/hello-elementor-integration/ Just download the plugin and install it... This will solve the issue
