I'll be doing some work around exclusions/inclusions before next release, as those areas have changed in latest versions and not yet tested/fixed - I have some improvement plans:

For the multisite - I highly recommend to run the multisites as subdomain sites, not subdirectory.
I'm probably going to officially say I don't support running the plugin on sites with WP hosted in a subdirectory, whether it be a multisite network or a single site at example.com/wp/
It may be working for you today, but I can't guarantee it will continue to work properly
Hi Leon, Hope you are doing well. For example, I want to exclude all urls that begin with /news (a sub site in a network site) e.g /news/post-url so I added these urls to the exclude certain URLs option /news /news/ https://www.dropbox.com/s/ozfgaongah6uay4/2020-06-18_08-33-47.png?dl=0 and then it will exclude all urls containing /news e.g /category/news or /blog/news Thank you!
