Ok, but than with a clear indication which book you have and which you don't.
I use the program now so that, when I see a book in a shop, I can easily see whether I have the book already or not.
Since the main source for series (in 3.4) is LibraryThing, we may just want to link to their web pages. Not sure.
Goodreadd also includes series information so in the next release I will probably add a 'series_source' field so that we can go back to the source for other books in a future version.
I'd actually really like this one.
The problem is...I have no idea what the interface should look like.
It might be simpler to go to the relevant goodreads web page.
Just thinking: in the new (beautiful) list layout , you might consider putting the images of books you do not own at the right of the screen. This would give an immediate indication which books you own and which books you don't.
You might consider implementing a swipe right to left, to mark the book as bought, or left to right to mark a book as not owned.
and I would put the checkbox 'owned/ not owned' between the book shelf and the #of pages.
Perhaps have a menu setting to show or not show missing books and have these appear e.g. greyed out, or (perhaps easier to implement, not needing to maintain the list), show a list of owned + missing books when the user clicks on the series title.
