1 week ago I have the same issue since version 6.x: adding a book via barcode scanning launches the camera app, but this does not include barcode reading. The real issue is that there's no way of specifying another application to read the barcode.

Hi Eley, I've been using your excellent application for years. I have a Fairphone 4 running Android 13. For some time now, when I want to scan a barcode, it's no longer the ZXing application (Barcode Scanner) that launches, but the camera directly, which doesn't recognise the barcode. I've tried disabling the Photos application, but nothing changes. Built-in scanner doesn't work either. Can you please help me? Thank you!
