flag of Scotland displayed incorrectly #1487

Reproduces only in wx backend. In tty in GNome terminal not reproduced.

Expected: 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Seen: 🏴

Also in both tty and wx modes unnecessary spaces appear [before] and after flag sign.

For me it displayed same as when opening your file in gedit and as typing your file in terminal with cat. Likely it depends on chosen font. Redundant spaces confirmed though.
