[4.2R2] Phone vibrates on new E-Mails even though it is #278

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Disable Vibration in GMail App or EMail App
2. Receive an E-Mail

What is the expected output?
Phone does not vibrate

What do you see instead?
Phone vibrates

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
4.2R2

Vibration stops when also sounds notification is disabled within the gmail app.

The above mentioned workaround does not work for E-Mail App

Check to see if you have profiles enabled.  If you do what is the setting for 
Email and/or Gmail for Vibrate.  I believe the default may be for vibrate to be 
"On".  If this is the case either change to "No Override" or disable profiles.

Thank you for the reply - but i got profiles disabled.

I even tried to enable profiles and set one profile to vibrate=disable for 
gmail and email - but it still vibrates on a new e-email with this profile 
activated :/

After some more googling:
It seems no bug, but android intended behavior.

Still good to know CM added a workaround for that yesterday:

Hopefully this is included in R5 :)
